Presentation of an event

Focus: an optical system used for observation, with the purpose of furnishing a true image of the object or a result to be achieved.
Man: the individual who acts in nature and with culture: the elements which have always made an impact on life.
Environment: the surrounding space in which Man lives combined with the complex of social conditions and culture in which he has always tried to order his daily life.
It is not by chance that these three words constitute the primary themes of this first biennial international exhibition of photography and debate between science and culture, promoted by the Tuscia University in the twenty-fifth year of its foundation.
For fifteen days there will be a series of lectures, debates and round tables in Viterbo flanked by 29 photo-journalistic exhibitions which together consider problems related to Man and the Environment.
One can imagine ObiettivoUomoAmbiente like a newspaper open on the city, which one will be able to thumb through, enthralled by the depth of the subject matter, seduced by the images.
A special newspaper using parallel language with different symbols and methodology, aiming at being an extraordinary means of diffusion, education and knowledge in which science and art meet in a modern alchemy between communication and knowledge.
